# Arcium Staking

> The official app for staking ARX and delegating to network operators that power Arcium's MPC (multi-party computation) fabric on Solana. Delegating ARX underwrites the security of the network's confidential computation. Arcium never takes custody of your wallet.

## Key facts

- Token: ARX, the Arcium network token.
- Network: Solana, targeting mainnet by default.
- Operator roles: Compute Node, Recovery Peer, Unbound. You delegate ARX to an operator to back its role.
- Epoch length: 12 hours. Arcium runs its own epoch clock, independent of Solana's epochs.
- Minimum lockup: 4 epochs (about 2 days) before a delegation can be undelegated.
- Unbonding: undelegating starts a 2-epoch (about 24 hour) cooldown that earns no rewards; afterward the position can be closed to withdraw ARX.
- Rewards: staking is designed to earn protocol rewards for securing confidential compute; claimable reward epochs appear once the rewards indexer has the Merkle proof needed by the staking program.
- Wallets: any Solana Wallet Standard wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and others), plus Mobile Wallet Adapter on Android. Installed wallets are detected automatically.
